Hayden is a strategic advisor with a proven track record of supporting senior leaders at the highest levels of government and across the private sector. He has served as Director of Communications to several Ontario cabinet ministers, including the President of the Treasury Board, advising on complex policy files and high-profile public initiatives.

Most recently, Hayden was a Senior Advisor at Ontario’s Ministry of Finance, where he helped shape the public narratives around provincial budgets and major financial milestones for the government. He also worked as a speechwriter in the province’s Cabinet Office, supporting the Premier’s Office and senior leadership on high-profile announcements, while providing strategic communications advice on international trade, interprovincial relations, and broader government engagement.

Prior to his work in government, Hayden founded and led a boutique communications firm, building a trusted advisory practice for clients ranging from major Canadian media organizations to smaller organizations navigating high-stakes moments. With a background in journalism from Ryerson University and experience at the National Post and Torstar, Hayden brings strong newsroom instincts, clear writing, and disciplined storytelling to everything he does.
