Clarissa is a trusted public affairs and strategic communications advisor who helps organizations navigate complex political, policy, and stakeholder environments with confidence. She is recognized for her ability to translate political insight into practical strategy, and build trusted relationships across government and industry, guiding leaders through high-profile issues and periods of change. She is particularly valued for her ability to simplify complex issues, anticipate political and regulatory developments, and create practical strategies that deliver results.

With more than 20 years of experience spanning government, politics, consulting, real estate and healthcare transformation, Clarissa brings a unique combination of strategic thinking, political acumen, and operational leadership. Her career has been defined by advising senior decision-makers, developing public affairs and communications strategies, and building consensus among diverse stakeholders to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Before moving into consulting, Clarissa held several roles in federal politics, including in the Prime Minister's Office under Prime Minister Stephen Harper, where she supported the Priorities and Planning and Issues Management teams. She also served as Press Secretary to the Honourable Peter MacKay during his tenure as Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, Minister responsible for Atlantic Canada and the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, and Member of Parliament for Central Nova. She later served as Director of Operations to the Honourable Erin O'Toole while Leader of the Official Opposition and as his Chief of Staff during his final years as a Member of Parliament.

As a consultant, Clarissa has advised organizations across healthcare, advanced education, immigration, defence, technology, and Veterans Affairs, helping clients navigate government, shape public policy, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and develop integrated advocacy and communications strategies.

Clarissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Carleton University and a Graduate Certificate in Public Relations from Toronto Metropolitan University.
