Brittany Mathison consistently yields results by paying attention to the details. A seasoned communications professional, Brittany has experience in both the public and private sector. You have seen and heard her work through the voices of three former Leaders of the Official Opposition during some of the most pivotal moments in Canada’s recent history. Brittany knows the power and impact words can have, and her ability to sense and maximize opportunities is the advantage she brings to the Texture team. Brittany has served in leadership roles both on Parliament Hill and in national campaign war rooms.
After her time on Parliament Hill, Brittany became the Senior Advisor for Media Relations at the Mental Health Commission of Canada, where she worked to promote and enhance public understanding and awareness for mental health on the national level.
At Texture Communications, Brittany has led strategic communications initiatives for Indigenous clients across Canada. She has developed speeches, media responses, and strategic content that reinforce Indigenous leadership, amplify community voices, and support the advancement of self-government and reconciliation. Where working on government engagement strategies or responding to misinformation in the media, Brittany brings a grounded, respectful, and impactful approach to communications with and for Indigenous governments.
